| The increasing quantitative and qualitative water resources demands required for a sound and sustainable socio-economic development and environmental protection, implies a complex and comprehensive understanding of eco-hydrological processes. In the context of human induced forcing on water resources the cognisance and the availability of the hydrological and environmental data, newly emerging methods, models and procedures for hydrological forecasting and eco-hydrological parameters for water management are of an outstanding importance.
